Memberships
We offer 2 types of membership passes:
Golden Carver Membership Passes (free)
This pass gives a 12-month subscription and entry into 6 contests. You will be able to upload your carvings, and vote on all submissions for the prestigious Carver Award.
Voting Public (VP) Membership Pass (free)
This pass is a free subscription for non-carvers, and allows you to vote for the VP Award. It will also enter you into drawings to win prizes as long as you vote on the carvings.
How it works
Every 2 months we begin a new competition. Our current contest is the “Great Pet Challenge." The competition will last from July 1st - August 31st.
You can join the contest at any time. Once you enter you can vote on all the current entries. If you are a Carver, you can also submit your entries.
Scoring

All entries are scored on a scale of 1-10.

Simply select the number of votes you want to give to a submission, and that amount of points will be added to that Carvings overall score.

The Carvings are entered into 2 contests: The Carver Choice and the Voting Public (VP) Award.

The scores are tallied to create the current leaderboard.
The Leaderboard

The Leaderboard shows you the current leaders for both the Carvers and Voting Public Contests.

The leaderboard updates throughout the day, but will officially update daily at 5:30a EST.

Your current scores may not show up on the leaderboard immediately, but will within 24 hours.

Check back daily to vote on new submissions and current leaders.

Challenge
The “Great Pet Challenge”! Everyone loves to see their pets immortalized in sculpture. Dogs, cats, farm animals, and more are all part of our family. Carve your furry, feathered, or scaled loved one for this unique competition!

The "Great Pet Challenge" is our newest contest. Submit your best piece that resembles your beloved pet. We can't wait to see what you come up with.

You can submit up to three of your best photos (1 feature, 2 supporting photos), preferably one with you in it.

A chainsaw must be used at some point while carving your submission piece.

The carving you enter must be made solely by you.

You must have your submission in by 11:59 PM EST on 08/31/2023 .

Please note: the closer you submit your carving to the deadline, the less time carvers and the voting public have to vote on your submission.

Rules & Regulations

All photos must be original work, taken by the entrants. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.

The photo of your work must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting your work. (i.e. No Photo editing to change your work)

Violators will be removed from the contest, stripped of any prize(s), and banned from entering future contests.

Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel. Entries not submitted through the proper channel will be deleted.

Entries will be judged by the Golden Carver Awards. All decisions are final. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.

By entering the contest, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by the Golden Carver Awards for promotional purposes.

Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.

The prize must be collected by the winner and is non-transferable.

The winner will be contacted via the email address provided during entry. If no response is received after [three] business days, a new winner will be selected and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.

The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
